Having studied filmmaking at the University of Missouri and receiving an MFA from Southern Illinois University, where he ran the Big Muddy Film Festival for two years, Evan moved to Chicago to mentor with acclaimed documentary editor Sharon Karp.
Evan has since moved on to a promising career as a freelance editor on the strength of an impressive collection of regional and national commercial spots. Despite his success as a commercial editor, Evan has continued to work on passion projects including a number of independent films such as the award winning short Educating Cooper. Postales is Evan’s first feature film.
